On behalf of the Hellenic Neurosurgical Society, I would like to warmly welcome you to the 37^th Annual Congress and Joint Meeting with the Bulgarian Society of Neurosurgery, which will take place at the Corfu Holiday Palace, in Corfu, Greece, from the 13^th until the 16^th of June 2024.

The scientific program will present all aspects of modern Neurosurgery and Neurosciences. Furthermore, round table discussions on various hot topics will provide a platform to exchange opinions on the current trends in neurosurgical techniques and advances, in a friendly atmosphere. Early morning sessions will focus on skull base anatomy and approaches giving the opportunity to our residents and young Neurosurgeons to learn, discuss and debate different aspects of surgical planning issues and common clinical problems.

Leading experts in the field of Neurosurgery from Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Greece will contribute to the exchange of knowledge and skills. The 17^th Annual Neurosurgery Nurses Meeting will run in parallel with the congress sessions, as every year, giving our colleagues the opportunity to share sessions with our daily collaborators.

This year’s congress takes place at the island of Corfu which is renowned for its rich historical past starting from Homer’s Odyssey while also carrying influences from the Venetian, French, and English cultures. The selected venue, Corfu Holiday Palace Hotel, in the area of Kanoni, offers high standard conference facilities that will enhance networking and create a pleasant and friendly environment for the congress meetings.

The exhibition area will host a number of major national and international companies of neurosurgical equipment who will aim to present the ultimate updates in neurosurgical product development.

Overall, our annual congress presents the ideal opportunity to connect and to share knowledge with colleagues from all over Europe, enhance our skills set, and, most importantly, improve patient care.
